Caves Sao Joao Poco do Lobo Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 1996 Magnum
Description
In the 70s, upon purchasing Quinta do Poco do Lobo, the Costa family decided to plant international grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon. A grape which suits perfectly the calcareous soil and the terroir of Bairrada with its strong maritime influence and warm summers.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of rich ripe black and red fruits, green peper, earth, tobacco and leather. Medium bodied with plenty of natural fresh acidity and soft yet present tannins. The mouth is complex and flavourful with hints of herbs and liquorice.
Rating
RP 90
